Wynnum-Manly Integrated Health Care Centre (Gundu Pa)

All Data & Communications was contracted to supply and install the network connections for a brand new health care facility at Wynnum Manly. The objective was to provide a brand new medical facility for the general public for all their health needs.

With all the current medical services spread out over the area, the plan was to consolidate all these services to one brand new facility with the state-of-the-art communication system and protective security system for Queensland Health staff, service partners and their contractors.

All Data & Communications installed a new Molex certified category 6a cable solution which will provide a new 10 Gigabit service to all the IT services that are required.

There is a single mode OS2 optical fibre and 24 category 6a communication link between Gundu Pa Health Centre and the Primary Care Centre. This allows for the Primary Care Centre to be independent of the main facility and can be used in a different capacity in the future if the need arises.

The system comprises of 461 category 6a outlets with IP CCTV network that also has a fibre optic infrastructure to allow for connection to the cameras within the car park.

All Data & Communications was able to provide a 25-year system and product warranty with Molex. A proven world partner and provide certification of the site as required be Queensland Health Information and Communications Technology Department.

This guarantees the integrity of the system and if there is an issue, this will be resolved at no cost to Queensland Health or its partners within the facility.
