Costco Wholesale – Bundamba

All Data & Communications was contracted to supply and install the network connections for a brand-new Costco Wholesale Warehouse. The objective was to provide the new warehouse’s data and communication needs.

The new warehouse will provide new goods and services to the community at low-cost pricing by the design of all services in the one place, lower setup costs of the warehouse, and bulk supply of goods.

The site also has a fuel station that is automated which also provides a lower cost to Costco’s customers and value for money.

All Data & Communciations installed a new Molex Certified Category 6 Cable solution which will provide a new 1 Gigabit service to all the IT services that are required. In the major media area which contains the audio-visual, all display screens are fitted off with Category 6A cabling.

The latest in Multi-Mode OM4 Optical Fibre communication technology links between all communication and security racks throughout the warehouse and fuel station.

Due to the concerns of telecommunication dropouts in the area, 2 x 4G antennas were installed at either end of the warehouse. This allows continuing telecommunication connection for Fire & Security Services while maintaining services to the facility in the event of an emergency in the area (e.g. power outages and telecommunication blackouts).

All Data & Communications was able to provide a 25-year system and product warranty with Molex. Molex is a proven world partner and provides certification of the site as required by Costco Wholesale at all their sites.
